Un vacher et un berger discutent ensemble. Le berger est curieux de savoir comment le vacher nourrit ses animaux. Suite à leur conversation, le berger raconte l’histoire de la huppe et du Butor. Un homme fan d'huitres voyage en France pour manger les meilleures du pays. Il se retrouve a Paris ou il rencontre un vieil homme qui se dit expert en la matiere lui aussi. Il ressemble a gnome. Ce vieil homme invite son nouvel ami a le suivre dans sa caverne. La-bas, il devoile son incroyable collection d'huitres. Certaines sont tres anciennes, et sont meme arrivees sur Terre avant les humains...-

Frederic Hombert vit a Paris ou il etudie. Il voit une magnifique jeune-femme par la fenetre et la salue. La jeune-femme le salue en retour. Frederic desire la contacter. Il lui demande par la fenetre si elle l'autorise a lui ecrire une lettre. La jeune-femme ne prete plus attention a lui et refuse toute forme de contactes. Par chance, Frederic la croise dans Paris. Un jeu commence alors entre eux. Il lui ecrit un mot par la fenetre, et apres ce qui lui semble un long moment, elle l'invite enfin a la rejoindre... -

Polichinelle porte bien son nom. C'est un homme connu pour ses betises et son comportement polisson. Il passe un moment chez le diable, puis il revient sur Terre accompagne de Prosperine. Polichinelle cache un secret, et lorsqu'il se retrouve sur l'ile d'Atlantis avec sa bien-aimee, il le devoile aux habitants de l'ile...-

Deux jeunes cavaliers se promenent en foret. L'un d'entre eux est plein de joie et s'amuse a parcourir la nature avec son cheval. Son ami a une attitude bien differente. Il semble atteint de melancolie et ne dit pas un mot. Il arrete son cheval et descend de sa monture pour ramasser une branche. Le jeune cavalier est en fait amoureux d'une femme qu'il n'est pas cense aimee : une grande amie de sa mere, bien plus agee que lui...-
