Philip Newth (f. 1939) er en engelskfødt norsk børnebogsforfatter. Han er særlig kendt for sine bøger om robotten Matilda og har vundet flere priser for sit forfatterskab. Han er gift med den norske forfatter Mette Newth og sammen har de to sønner, Eririk og Hege Newth, der også er forfattere.
